BEGINNING OF A NEW YEAR

Today is the first day of a new year, what will I accomplish this year, a lot more that I did in 2008; Start off by wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR.


I want to visit my family more, we are all getting older and may not be here much longer, we have an appointed time, but who knows when that time will be, we need to cherish each moment we have with each other. I am looking forward to Saturday.


It will be a great day, the weather outside may be frightful, but the fire will be so delightful. The family will be a joy to be with.




Visiting with Charlene's family tuesday and not seeing them for so many years, didn't even know some of them and asking different ones who is that and finding out who they are, so shocked when they told you. Paul and Mary Cooper, we didn't even know each other. We change after 37 years. I have met Eva in the wal mart store and didn't know who she was. It is sad that a funeral has to bring us together. Paul said they was coming down here, because there was a lot of people he wanted to see. It was good to visit with the family. Coy shared some of the good times fishing and hunting with Leonard, with his kids Loyd,Wayne and Sandra, Wayne's wife. She is so sweet.



Last night we went to some friends house for games of Dominoes and eats of course.

We prayed the old year out and the new year in. Then we set by the fire for an hour and just visited. Well it was a short night Friends and Family is so important.

Coy and I spent the day shopping, in which I hate to shop, but I really found some bargains. I went looking for quilting supplies. I found the templates I have been looking for and at 1/2 price too. Marty Mitchell templates. I found them at Hot Springs at Hancocks. I had been to many stores before that. They also had huge packages of christmas ribbon at 75% off. I needed some to use on packages for next year. I also found some real cute snowman plates for my goodies , well Nancy found them for me and I went and picked them up. I got them for 50 cents each. I got my quilt backing for 40% off, so I really did find some bargains.

Have got to go a big day tomorrow, cleaning etc. HAVE A BLESSED DAY TOMORROW AND EVERY TOMORROW.
