Well so much for the rest, no rest. The day after we got there Maranda had a bicycle wreck on a concrete bridge. I was outside, Coy had run into the store. I heard Maranda scream or God told me she was hurt. I was sitting at the table reading my bible and she had rode her bicycle up the hill. I heard the voice , laid my bible down and got up when I seen two ladies with her, one with the bike and one leading her with her arm upheld. I just knew she had a broken bone but no she did not. Just real bad concrete scrapes. So here we go doctoring all her scrapes. One on the shoulder and one on the knee, one on the elbow and her side. She also got a bump on the temple. It swelled and turned black, so that called for an ice pack Her scrapes got infected so I kept bandages with antibiotic cream on it. Boiled out with peroxidase. It is almost healed. Her elbow is sore and her knee. She is so lucky she did not hit one of those concrete blocks on the side. God is so good to watch over our kids and grand kids.
The next day Jeanette and CW came up with the kids and we had a really good time, One evening we got together and ate watermelon. The kids had fun at the bridge catching frogs, tadpoles and craw fish. They also enjolyed swimming in that cold water.
God bless all
